Kiridashi craft knives - right handed grind

$165.00

A Kiridashi is a traditional Japanese craft knife with a pointed blade, used for carpentry and bamboo working. They are also useful as a general utility blade around the house, garden or workshop - useful for opening boxes and other general crafting tasks.

Are you right or left handed? The blade is ground with an asymmetric ‘chisel’ grind where one side is flat and the other has a bevel. I offer right or left handed grinds depending on your handedness and preference - this listing is for right handed kiridashi.

Blade: 1084 high carbon steel.

Handle: These kiridashi are one piece construction and don’t have a separate handle. However I offer the option of a pre-wrapped paracord handle which some people find more comfortable to use. If purchasing without the pre-wrapped handle, I’ll include a length of paracord to give you the option of wrapping the handle yourself in the future, or tying to the handle to provide a means to hang the blade up.
