Turkey Oak Gyuto
A staple in my own kitchen, the Gyuto is a great kitchen knife suited for many tasks - a decent length blade allows to chopping of larger vegetables and cuts of meat, whilst the pointed tip allows for more detailed tasks. This gyuto was inspired by Japanese design, but incorporating a more typically wester-style pointed tip.
Blade: 215mm long, AEBL stainless steel at RHC 62. The blade has a slightly convex symmetrical grind to aid with food release.
Handle: Stabilised Turkey oak, with an ebony and nickel silver spacer.
